Playgroup Friends Go to Sacrewell Farms

After some hectic days of baking and being cooped up in the house, the kids and I met a few other friends from our Glinton Tots group at Sacrewell Farms for the day.

The kids had a wonderful time getting to see their friends and get up close and personal with some of the animals. It had been over a year since we had been to the farm with my folks when they came, but Addison sure remembered things from her first visit.

We got to touch the bunnies and feed the ducks, sheep, goats and chickens. Addison was obsessed with trying to find the pigs.

The kids all wanted to go through the mazes that were set up. It was quite muddy today and neither of my kids or I have proper wellie boots like everyone else so we got quite mess tromping through the mud. I felt bad for Harrison because I couldn't trust him out of the stroller on his own and Addison wanted to walk with her friends, but she managed to fall down quite a few times.

We got to go on tractor wagon ride which was really nice, but a little chilly. At the end the gal let all of the kids hop up in the tractor cab and play around a bit.

Afterwards we ate a really nice lunch in the cafe with our friends. We essentially had the whole place to ourselves at the farm because the weather wasn't the nicest, but it turned out to be a great day. When we got home I stripped the kids down, but on a whole new set of clothes and put them down for naps and I took one myself...that was a lot of work!!!!
