This weekend we headed north to the big Lincoln Christmas market. Two years ago when we ventured here it rained on us but the crowds weren't too bad. Today the weather was cold but clear so the people were out in droves. I love Christmas markets, but it is a bit tricky to enjoy the shopping bit too much when you trying to push a stroller with two kids and there are thousands of people around.
While we were within the castle walls it was really hard to move and after fighting our way to look in a few stalls we made our way out the gates, but as we waited to move on I grab a pic of me and my hubby!!!
Fresh hot roasted chestnuts...."it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas."
We recognized a familiar farm vendor and noticed they were serving ostrich today. We thought about getting a taste but we already stuffed our tummy's full of some "great-as-always" Pizza Express pizza.
Addison is always very persistent when it comes to asking if she gets to go on a ride. Not a problem to on "a" ride, but when she wants to ride everything we have to do a bit of bargaining. She picked this horsey ride which takes the kids around a curvy little track. She had a great time.
I was so excited to see that there really is a "Georgie Porgie" with puddings and pies!!!
Addison and I with loads of rides and games and people behind us at the busy market.
Nothing like a big ol' sausage cooking over a huge fire.
These are tiny little Dutch pancakes. The seemed to be serving them with all sorts of sweet toppings.

We even saw a giant Christmas cake driving along the road!!!
They even had a huge ferris wheel which is they called the mini-Eye.
Loads of jacket potatoes cooking for a warm tasty treat for the Christmas shoppers.
They are also lots of typical fillings for your baked potatoes in the UK...I especially thing that tuna and coleslaw shouldn't be on potatoes but I guess I can't knock it until I've tried it.
I have never seen a tearoom that was just for Vegetarians and Vegans so I had to take a quick picture of this one....
