All of Europe in Two Hours

After breakfast we took the metro out to the edge of town to see the Atomium and Mini-Europe.  The Atomium was built for the 1958 World's Fair and is a model of an iron molecule enlarged 165 million times.  It's known as the Eiffel Tower of Brussels and it is pretty amazing.

There were loads of people posing for pictures to show how they could "hold" the structure.  Today they actually had people taking rides down a rip cord from the very top.  Looked like a great thrill.

We took a little break underneath the Atomium.  My little Harrison really seemed to be growing up

After lunch we went to Mini-Europe which is a park that displays 300+ models of structures and sites all throughout Europe.  This place was soooo cool!!!

We got our pictures with the Eiffel Tower....

England's Parliament and Big Ben

The Acropolis from Athens

Addison with the Arc de Triomphe in Paris

Basilica Sacre Coeur in Paris

I'm holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa that is just a bit taller than me

Addie you are soooo funny!!! What a great day to see so much.  Our goal is to see as much of Europe as we can while we live in the UK and this was a great motivator for us to see the real things.
