An Early Christmas Present

Remember my stroller drama? Well, Kevin worked on the people at American Airlines enough that they finally agreed to give us money towards a new stroller - a whole $300. Then Kevin told the airport reps that the equivalent stroller we had would cost twice that. While we waited to hear from the General Manager we went ahead and ordered a less model from Target. Kevin sent the GM an email showing the cost of what an equivalent stroller would cost and surprisingly he agreed to purchase us the same stroller we had, so we went ahead and ordered it. The stroller from Target arrived at my parents while we were in Peoria, but the "good" one arrived at my mom's work because the UPS driver didn't want to head out on the gravel roads where my parents lived...must be nice to know your delivery people that well!  While Kevin was working on the airport I sent a complaint to AA on their website.  They said they were sorry but had to stand by the airport's decision, but to keep me a satisfied AA customer they gave me 10,000 miles on my account....that's one and a half round trips home and back again.

I helped Kevin put it together when he got back from Peoria Friday night and it is soooo sweet...so much better than the used one we got on eBay. The best part is that Addison actually likes sitting in this one, I think that is what makes Kevin and I like it more. This time around we were smart though and purchased the travel bag to keep it safe from careless baggage handlers.

Grandma Sally got to break it in for us by pushing the kids around on a walk while we were in Arizona.
